Alain Barthélemy
Alain was born in France and now lives in the Netherlands. Started fishing at an early age. Developed his fishing skills on the demanding rivers of France like la Loue and the Ain fishing for the mysterious and 100% wild “zebra trout”. Alain is one of the fisherman of whom is said that 20% of the fisherman catch 80% of the fish having a water sence. After moving to the Netherlands he further developed his fishing skills for predator fish like trout (Oostvoorne), zander and pike from boat and shore with both flies and lures. Alain has a long track record in guiding around the globe. Alain is also owner of A.B.Fly a respected company of high quality flytying materials, lures and flies. His flies are all tyed by himself (year production of 50.000) and are favored by the discerning flyfisherman and are hard sought after.
